Once people built simple cabins close to Lake Michigan

.....that was almost 100 years ago.   The allure of Harbor Country, it's pristine beaches and forests continue to bring the kids and grandkids of those first visitors back year after year,  but take a look along the shore -- those cramped quarters, cold in winter, hot in summer, where you had to go outside to change your mind --- those cabins are gone.

You need space indoors to fully enjoy the four season joy of Harbor Country, and that is what you find at Lakewood Estates.

Our smallest retreat is TWICE the size of today's manufactured home tourist cabins.  The vast majority have THREE, even FOUR TIMES THE ROOM.   That means a LOT to mom and the kids ---  room for toys,  space to enjoy life on those "once in a while" rainy days!

Now that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with those small cabins.  They serve their purpose.  But just look at the difference!
